Greta Scacchi (born February 18, 1960 in Milan, Italy) is an Emmy Award-winning film actress. Greta's mother, an English dancer, and father, an Italian painter, divorced when she was three, and returned to England with Greta and her two older brothers. In 1975, after her mother remarried, the family moved to Australia. In 1977, Scacchi returned to England to pursue an acting career; she studied at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, with Miranda Richardson and Amanda Redman.
