Venus in conjunction with Uranus
Today, our focus is on the conjunction, a very specific aspect. It is really an outstanding one, because it always marks the beginning and the end of a cycle between two planets. For this reason, it is the most important and the most powerful aspect; in addition, it highlights the House in which it is posited. It represents the unity and the synthesis of the forces at play. Moreover, a conjunction may prove auspicious or harmful, either owing to the aspects it receives from other planets, or because the nature of the planets involved is hardly compatible (Saturn and the Moon, etc.) and does not lend itself to their association. Anyway, people having a conjunction in their chart will have no choice except to fully experience the energies pertaining to the planets in question with no possibility to separate one from the other.
Venus, the planet of love, of beauty, of sophistication, and of charm, is roused by Uranus, who simultaneously stands for independence, the taste for novelty, demand, originality, and the unexpected.
One may as well say that in the affective area, conjunctions often produce unpredictable behaviours deeply vulnerable to love at first sight and to up-and-down affairs.
There is no consistency in the way one deals with a romantic relationship or even how one expresses one's inclinations, especially in the field of art. Nevertheless, these planets do share a common feature, i.e. their magnetism. Uranus astonishes and attracts with his singularity; Venus captivates through the harmony she radiates.
Therefore, both planets endow those having this conjunction in their natal chart with a special aura. This is why, as we shall see further down, this aspect is often found in the chart of stars who leave an irresistible impression.
Sooner or later, such a conjunction always urges to shun conformism and to live a very free life in every field, sometimes in an utterly individualistic and fanciful manner. Tastes are unconventional with absolutely no consideration about morality, propriety, or social rules. This blend is as fascinating as difficult to cope with.
These interpretations are also valid, in a much more attenuated way, for a positive aspect. Here, the effect of the conjunction is simply much stronger than if it were a mere trine or sextile, but it goes in the same direction.
In order to better explain this aspect, we are mentioning several well-known personalities. This article deliberately isolates the conjunction so as to better describe it. For this reason, it claims on no account to be a psychological analysis of the celebrity in question, for whom many other articles are available in the "Focus" section.
It is possible to find thousands of other horoscopes having Venus and Uranus in conjunction (or other aspects), with the online tool search. The planets, positions in sign and in house as well as the orb, are configurable.
Elizabeth Taylor
It is amusing to note that the actress has been immortalized particularly because of her purple eyes, a quite uncommon color which immediately points to a peculiarity of an aesthetic kind, therefore Venusian, and to originality, therefore Uranian.
Regarding matters of love, her Venus-Uranus conjunction is exact, at 17° of the fiery sign of Aries, and extremely revealing. Whether or not she was famous, Taylor was anyway predisposed to fall in love head over heels instantly and frequently. Indeed, in the sign of Aries, Venus does not take the time to ponder, but gets tired quickly, and Uranus increases this impulsive side even more.
Among her eight (!) husbands, it is worth remembering her passionate, chaotic, and magnetic story with Richard Burton. In Taylor's chart, the role of the square with Pluto and of the trine with Jupiter is of course to stigmatize the less controllable facets of the Venus-Uranus combination.
Taylor has been the weeping widow of Michael Todd, but above all several times a divorcee or an excellent friend of atypical celebrities having weird attractions (Montgomery Clift, Michael Jackson. The latter had the same conjunction).
In Taylor's chart, the conjunction is in an angle in the 4th House (the home), which makes it one of the major signatures of the chart. It explains why the actress, idolized too, had a "stolen childhood", according to her own words, driven by her mother to make movies. It was her role as a perfect and lovely little girl in Lassie Come Home which opened the gates to glory.

Rose McGowan
It is really not surprising that an outstanding figure of the current feminism is under the dominion of the Venus-Uranus conjunction. McGowan is one of the first actresses to condemn openly Harvey Weinstein and even to testify against him. She was at the root of the #metoo phenomenon and went as far as to create her own movement, #RoseArmy.
In her chart, the Venus-Uranus conjunction is posited between 20 and 21° Libra (therefore, an extremely tight aspect) in the 5th House (romance in particular). It does not involve other planets but angles, namely the Ascendant and the Midheaven. It can be inferred that the conjunction expresses itself mainly in how McGowan comes across, but also in her career (the Midheaven).
Unlike Liz Taylor, natal Venus is here in domicile in Libra. In principle, this is an asset – small or really weak, according to certain modern authors who abandoned the notion of dignity – to the planet ruling this sign. Nevertheless, under the influence of Uranus, it is fairly challenged.
As for passions and leisure activities (the 5th House), the emphasis is on the defense of the present Venusian code-breaking values. McGowan has a long record of love stories full of twists and turns. She accumulated affairs and divorces which are characterized by affinities with divisive personalities such as the singer Marilyn Manson. Besides, she came out of the closet and revealed her bisexuality.

Warren Beatty
Isn't it obvious that the womanizer and the most famous handsome face in Hollywood – and maybe in the world, because he is believed to have had no less than 12,775 affairs – Warren Beatty, is also influenced by a Venus-Uranus conjunction?
In his chart, the duet is in Taurus and in the 8th House. Therefore, Beatty is some sort of emotional bulimic who does not know how to (or does not want to) repress his sexual urges.
It is rumored that he has gathered thousands of female conquests, a long list of women mixing the most famous names with the names of entirely unknown females.
His French Wikipedia page mentions a "libidinous personality", and does not conceal the contradictions in his behavior. For a long time, Beatty has been at the same time a brainless Don Juan, but he eventually settled down quite many years ago. Indeed, he is married with (and tamed by?) Annette Bening, who gave him four children, as if he was forced to go through the death-rebirth process of the 8th House.
The stable and conventional nature of Taurus finally expressed belated fidelity, after having thoroughly experienced devouring impulses.

Christina Aguilera
In the singer's chart, there is a conjunction straddling two signs, with Uranus at 27° Scorpio, and Venus at 0° Sagittarius in the 9th House.
The aspect is in square with the Ascendant in Aquarius, which intensifies the tendency for troublemaking of Uranus, ruler of the sign. Freedom of thought is deep-seated and is displayed like a banner indicating Aguilera's artistic positioning.
Thus, after her debut in bubblegum pop, she dared to take a bolder artistic turn which is in better agreement with her desires. This Venus-Uranus duet being in connection with the Ascendant, Aguilera enjoys changing her looks and being where she is not expected.
Uranus in Scorpio is uncompromising, drastic, and gives a proneness to regenerative splits. He cooperates with an idealistic and ardent Venus in Sagittarius, which allows Aguilera to get away and enlarge her horizons (the 9th House).
Then the singer, who sold over 35 million albums, felt the need to diversify her activities. She became a philanthropist, in particular by promoting Human Rights and by fighting against domestic violence. This trait of character is more Venusian, although it may astonish (Uranus); this is in conformity with this planetary pair.
