Sarit Hadad (Hebrew: שרית חדד‎, born Sara Hodedtov Hebrew: שרה חודדטוב‎) on September 20, 1978) is a popular Israeli singer. She comes from a musical family and was recognized as a child prodigy. At the age of eight, she started performing on the piano at a local club without telling her parents. This went on for two years until they found out. Apart from classical piano, she taught herself to play other instruments, among them organ, guitar, accordion and a Middle Eastern drum called the darbuka.
