Analysis of Carla Bruni's astrological chart

It is not surprising that, despite her public destiny, Carla Bruni Sarkozy has an introverted temperament. Her natal chart, indeed, is marked by astrological signs known for their discretion: her Sun in Capricorn is deeply influenced by Virgo, which shelters four planets, Cancer, where her Ascendant is posited, and Scorpio, in this order.

Firstly, the Cancer – Capricorn combination describes a woman torn between a devouring ambition and the need for genuine intimacy. In any case, it is obvious that the energy and the typical will of this pattern highlight her Sun in Capricorn. Finally, she supports herself on her own, regardless of any self-imposed constraints! However, it must be underlined that her rather complex chart, with the Moon in Virgo conjunct Pluto and Uranus, indicates some kind of existential anguish. She is a perfectionist and may doubt her self-worth. This double conjunction is probably difficult to experience, since it gives a secretly tormented temperament, and in addition, it squares Mercury. Here also, nervousness and intellect function as outlets for sometimes intense emotions. Fortunately, she can rely on a nice trine tightly linking Jupiter and her Sun, which protects her against material worries and ensures some degree of blossoming, particularly at the age of maturity.
