The Elegance and the Discretion of Leo and Virgo

The Sun in Virgo-Ascendant in Leo combination is expected to give a sharp sense of elegance, both literally and figuratively. This is the case with Jeremy Irons, a British comedian, whose slender figure can be seen in the United States and Ireland, where he restored a castle.

However, Irons' first steps were difficult. Born in the Isle of Wight, he was first interested in rugby and music before moving towards the military. A cold and unpleasant character, Claus von Bülow is aptly embodied by Irons, who manages to create a perfect egotist. The actor, well-known for being demanding and intellectual, left nothing to chance when he played this deeply inspiring part.

Then, he managed to begin an international career, switching from Hollywood high-budget movies to smaller European productions. Irons is able to act in French, and enjoys theatre plays too.

The roughness of Mars and the excessive sensitivity of the Moon in Aries.

Besides his talents, the actor is a man who is unafraid to voice his opinions. Mars in Scorpio, square the Ascendant and Venus, spurs Irons to free himself from his need to be famous. He does not mince his words and sometimes appreciates to shock.

His excessive sensitivity may be intensified by the opposition between the Sun and his Aries Moon, herself square Uranus. For those who do not take the time to understand Irons, his apparent behaviour may hurt many people.

The Romanticism of Neptune and of Venus

In the emotional area, however, his assets seem to outnumber his flaws. Venus is strong in Leo and appeased by soft aspects, except for the square with Mars already mentioned. As far as his home is concerned, the comedian prefers to remain quite vague, under the influence of a powerful Neptune conjunct the Imum Coeli. What we know is that he married an Irish woman in 1978 and that they have two children. It is probable that the sextile linking these two dominant planets (Venus and Neptune) produces a sweet and romantic ambiance for the couple.

Auspicious Transits by Jupiter in the Offing

In the spring of 2019, Irons is impacted by Jupiter's return. This transit is a rather good omen, because Jupiter is in domicile in this sign and relatively well-aspected.

Since Jupiter entered Sagittarius in Novembre 2018, the Moon, the Midheaven, the Ascendant, as well as Venus, have been enjoying the benevolence of Jupiter.

Until the end of 2019, Irons will be blessed with a second transit of Jupiter after his retrograde motion. However, this will technically concern only natal Jupiter in the 5th House (creativity and entertainment) because the orb is too wide.
