Selma Blair (born June 23, 1972) is an American actress. She became known in the late 1990s and has appeared in several supporting and lead roles in Hollywood films. Early life Blair was born Selma Blair Beitner in Southfield, Michigan, to Molly Ann and Elliot Beitner, who divorced when Blair was 23; she subsequently legally changed her surname to reflect that she has "nothing to do" with her father and he is "out of" her life.
