Dylan McDermott (born Mark Anthony McDermott on 26 October 1961) is an American actor, known for his role as lawyer and law firm head Bobby Donnell on the former TV legal drama The Practice. Height: 6' (1.83 m) McDermott was born in Waterbury, Connecticut to Diane and Richard McDermott, who owned the West Fourth Street Saloon in New York City. His Italian American mother was fifteen and his Irish American father was seventeen when he was born; the couple, divorced early on during his childhood.
