David Phillipe Desrosiers (29 August 1980-) is a Québécois musician best known as the bassist for Pop-Punk band Simple Plan. He grew up in Sept-Iles, Quebec, Canada. Desrosiers is the bassist and backup vocalist of rock alternative band Simple Plan. He has been known to briefly play the drums or guitar during shows for Simple Plan as well as for many of his favourite bands such as The Used, Good Charlotte and MxPx. Desrosiers has developed into almost a co-frontman as dialogue between him and lead singer Pierre Bouvier enlivens the show. Dhani Harrison (born August 1, 1978) is an English musician. The son of George Harrison of The Beatles, Dhani's debut as a professional musician was to finish his father's last album after George's death in November 2001. Dhani formed his own band, thenewno2, in 2006. Dhani's name is pronounced similarly to the name 'Danny' but with an aspirated 'd'. He is named after two notes of the Indian music scale, 'dha' and 'ni'. Dhani also means rich in Hindi both in a monetary and non-monetary sense. Dhani currently resembles his father when George was a young Beatle. At the Concert for George in which Dhani participated with a number of his father's musician friends, Paul McCartney commented upon seeing Dhani that it looked as if "George stayed young and got old..."
